Boughton Park

Boughton park
While actually located in the town of East Bloomfield, Boughton Park is jointly owned by East Bloomfield, Victor and West Bloomfield and is open for free use for all residents of those towns. Originally a reservior for the town of Fairport, the property was purchased by the 3 towns in 1989 and is a favorite spot for picnics, hiking and canoeing. Permits are Required and can be obtained from the Town Clerk.

The Ionia United Methodist Church is located at 2120 Elton Road, Ionia NY. They, like the West Bloomfield Congregational Church, are also experiencing an influx in weekly attendance. Rev. Maryann Wickett leads worship services on Sunday mornings at 9:30am.

West Bloomfield Congregational Church, U.C.C.

The West Bloomfield Congregational Church, United Church of Christ is located on the southeast corner of County Road #37 and Routes 5&20. Pastor Corey Keyes leads a growing congregation of approximately 130 in worship every Sunday morning at 10:30am.

West Bloomfield Pioneer Cemetary

Pioneer cemetery
The oldest town cemetary is located on the west side of County Road 37 just south of the village. Most of the town's early settlers are buried here. The headstones are dated in the 1800's.
